If you like sexy alpha males and humorous historical fun, you’re going to enjoy my first release with Dorchester Publishing’s Leisure historicals, TEXAS HOLD HIM. I love sexy, ornery heroes and Texan Obediah (Dyer) Straights is about as sexy and ornery as they get. Watch for the release of TEXAS HOLD HIM in April of 2009.
This book is set on the Mississippi just after the Civil War, but as for my other historicals? I’m envious of authors who specialize in certain time periods. I guess my problem is that I love all history, a problem I came by honestly since both of my parents were history teachers. Due to an early exposure to a variety of time periods, my stories vary from medieval to 19th century and from Europe to Appalachia. One thing you’ll find in common, though, is humor and lovable heroes. Not puppy dog lovable, but the kind of man a woman can’t help but fall in love with.
I fell hopelessly in love with each of my heroes, and I hope you will too.
